Who publishes PaymentMath
PaymentMath is published by Ecomparadise, LLC, an independent Ohio limited liability company, and runs under its own name. It is not owned by a media group, bank, retailer or software company, and no advertiser or partner has a say in what it publishes. The site is edited by Alex, who chooses what to build, checks each tool against its sources and is responsible for every page. Alex uses a first name only for privacy and does not claim professional credentials; the trust you can place in a result comes from the cited sources and the worked checks on each page, which you can verify yourself.
What PaymentMath does
- Builds calculators on standard, published formulas and names the formula on the page.
- Uses data from primary sources only, each linked with the edition or date it covers.
- Shows a worked check on each tool so you can reproduce the answer by hand or in a spreadsheet.
- Keeps what you type on your device. There are no accounts and no analytics that record your inputs.
What PaymentMath does not do
- It is not a lender, broker or credit service. It makes no offers, runs no credit checks, has no lead forms and does not pass your details to lenders.
- Rates shown are published averages or illustrations, never quotes.
- It does not publish user ratings, testimonials, “as seen in” badges or claims of lab testing, and it does not have a staff of experts. It is one editor, using published sources and automated tests.

How PaymentMath makes money
PaymentMath is free and has no paywall, accounts or sign-up. It is funded in two ways, both disclosed on the disclosure page:
- Affiliate links: none today. No lender, provider or product pays to appear on this site. If that changes, the link will be labelled on the page and the disclosure page updated first.
- Advertising: none today. The site plans to apply for Google AdSense. Any ads will be labelled and kept apart from calculator results.
No advertiser, partner or affiliate can change a formula, a data value or a result, and none has asked to.
How we check our work
